Get Ready For PhLUG's Abrickadabra 2018!

Are you ready for summer's highly anticipated brick event?! That's right, folks!  Hosted by the country's very first Recognized Lego User Group, PhLUG's Abrickabara will surely blow your minds away.

Now a two-day event, Abrickadabra will have tons of activities that will surely satisfy your brick cravings and make you come back for Day 2. Lego fans of all ages will surely be entertained by the different segments aimed to be fun and educational at the same time.

Perhaps the main attraction of the event, Abrickadabra's awesome displays will surely leave you in awe. There will be hundreds of MOCs displayed at the event and each Lego theme will surely be well-represented. Prepared by the friendly neighborhood builders of PhLUG's various SIGs, the exhibits will surely fascinate both kids and kids at heart. Check out some snapshots from last year's event!

There will also be a Brick Bazaar at the event. Dozens of sellers with tons of bricks and figs will be setting up shop for two days so you better make the most out of it and shop till you drop. If you're hunting for a certain fig or part, maybe now's the perfect chance for you to finally get it.

One last thing. If you're a fan of Voltron, then you're in for a treat! Abrickadabra will give Lego and Voltron fans the opportunity to meet and greet Lendy Tayag a.k.a. len_69. Lendy, a fellow Filipino and AFOL, recently submitted his Voltron MOC to Lego Ideas, the company's platform that turns fan projects into official sets. This cool and nostalgic project broke the internet and managed to garner enough support from both local and international Lego communities and now, it's on its way to become an official set. Ain't that cool?!

So, if you're into Lego or know someone who's a total fan, make sure you folks don't miss it! Abrickadabra 2018 is definitely PhLUG's biggest event to date and those 2 days of brick madness will surely be worth your while. I'm pretty sure casual and hardcore Lego fans alike will definitely have a blast at the event. Mark your calendar, folks and see you there!
