Hey, folks! Today's post will feature another MOC from several years ago. I've always known I've wanted to build mechs back then but I was also aware of how complicated it is so I decided to build a prototype for an exosuit. You gotta start somewhere, right?
I remember this was the first time I tried using those joint pieces from the Chima sets. I tried to make use of slopes to define the suit's shape also add a bit of detail to its arms, legs and feet. I was also hoping it would hide the studs. Looking back, I wish I could have added more detail to the forearms and legs. Also, I should've tried to hide the exposed joints, an issue that I still need to address with the mechs I recently built.
Check out more shots of the build with our brave pilot! I'm glad how you could still give . Those joint pieces are really something, right?
I've long chopped this build and I really wish I had this done in Lego Digital Designer so I could go back and improve on the suit's design. I plan to rebrick this one of these days. I hope I do a better job this time around.
Thanks for reading another entry here at Nothing But Brick. Stay tuned for more brick stuff soon! Till next entry!
